Information about the .1st (1st) file type

Below is all the information we have available on file about the .1st (1st) file type.

Plain ASCII text "read-me" file. Many applications provide a plain text "read-me" file with them. Whist typically such files are called "readme.txt" occasionally such a file may be called readme.1st as a way of emphasising that the file should be read first before tinkering with the accompanying application or data.

A .1st file can be opened using notepad or any other text editor.

Note: the file extension .1st is sometimes confused with .lst ("L" instead of "1") because in some fonts the two look similar.

Where this is available we would like to include file format information on .1st files, as well as information on how to view or open files of type .1st. If you know of any information which we have missed then please let us know.
